Who is that one friend that I wish were at the reunion? There are several friends who influenced me so much. But for those friends at Mariner, I would not have gone to college. Those friends are Allen Ice, Steven Rinaldi, and Rich Sherlock. (Anyone know where Steve Rinaldi went to?) They may not realize their influence on my future, but they challenged me to excel. But the one friend I would really like to be at the reunion is Charlie Smith. Charlie was a sincere and loyal friend. I talked to Charlie a while back. I don’t think he is coming to the reunion.
I hear you, Shawn — it’s funny to look back and realize the impact some people had on our lives. I was commenting to a friend just the other night (who shall remain nameless to protect…me) about a terrible crush I had in high school; I know for a fact that it had a big impact on my entire high school career — from how I spent my time, to providing a “muse” for my photography….
And no, I’m not going to tell you who it is.
And no, I’m not talking about HER….
Not her, either.
You can quit guessing, OK?
Hi Shawn – I heard from Rich Sherlock a few years back. I also wonder where Steve Rinaldi is. Charlie and I were close friends for a few years, mostly at Olympic View, we drifted apart a bit at Mariner and then lost touch entirely. I have many great memories of the Mariner Symphonic Band and Jazz Band!
now that is a great picture of you guys.. i missed that fun when we had to move away due to divorce..
