I was a class behind ya'll at Fairmont. 5th Grade Science with Mr. Gill was great. Mr Gill was the coolest dude. Reason I got into science actually. He took us all to see 2001 A Space Odessy at the Cinerama. Remember the drifting smoke aroma that came from the balcony after the intermission during that field trip? Had to do it on a Sat cus the the school did not sanction his taking us there. Got is all into model rockets, Earth Day cleaning up around the school neighborhood, a bunch of stuff. Don't ever show these to my kids. I'll never hear the end of how "interesting" and "special" (my kids' euphemisms for "pathetic" and "thoroughly uncool") I look. I'm impressed by Kim's memory for names. The only information I can add is the girl in both 5th and 6th grade pictures, middle row, standing next to the teacher, is Donna Moore. Wow. It was Janet James and her siblings, the Votava's, the Ames family, Dave Furnas and many more that lived on our hill too. We played kick the can and had great sledding adventures, especially when we would take our sleds down the trails to "Old Town". Great memories.
